Marine environmental surveys underway

On 17 October 2023, the project commenced marine environmental surveys within the project site area.

Utilising the Situla (pictured), the marine environmental surveys include the collection of underwater still and video images of the seabed, to identify habitats and species, along with water and sediment samples to analyse for physical, chemical, and biological parameters within the array area and the offshore cable area of search.

The information and data collected from the survey will be a key input in the development of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) document for the project.
