On Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st June, a total of four face-to-face public exhibitions were held in Stornoway, Barvas, Carloway, and Bernera, during which members of the local community received updates on the latest progress made on the project, together with information on what is planned over the months ahead. Several members of the team were also on hand to answer questions and receive feedback. The information provided can be found in the Summer 2023 newsletter.
The team is fully committed to working in partnership and engaging with local communities and stakeholders as the project continues to develop, and will hold at least two phases of formal public consultation before the planning application is submitted, which is currently expected to be around the end of 2024.
