In order to make the project more accessible to community members, we are commencing community drop-ins, at four different community-based locations every month.

The drop-ins will involve members of the project’s community liaison and engagement team being available throughout the day to meet members of the community, who can either make an appointment or simply drop in. This will allow individuals and small groups to meet with us, close to where they live, to learn more about the project generally or to discuss specific topics that are of interest to them.

The schedule for the community drop-ins for the summer months is as follows:

JUNE

Monday, 17th June: The Old School, Shawbost

Tuesday, 18th June: Carloway Community Centre

Wednesday, 19th June: Galson Estate Office

Thursday, 20th June: Stornoway Business Hub* (Bank Street)

 

JULY

Monday, 15th July: The Old School, Shawbost

Tuesday, 16th July: Carloway Community Centre

Wednesday, 17th July: Galson Estate Office

Thursday, 18th July: Stornoway Business Hub* (Bank Street)

 

AUGUST

Monday, 12th August: The Old School, Shawbost

Tuesday, 13th August: Carloway Community Centre

Wednesday, 14th August: Galson Estate Office

Thursday, 15th August: Stornoway Business Hub* (Bank Street)

The sessions will run from 10am to 3pm, with 10am to 12pm available for appointments and 12 to 3pm for those who wish to drop in.
