
Catriona Morrison
Catriona Morrison is Gaelic Language Policy Manager at Historic Environment Scotland, where she brings both professional experience and personal passion to her work with Gaelic language and heritage. A Gaelic speaker with roots in Lewis and South Uist, she cares deeply about the role of language, culture and education in supporting thriving island communities.
Catriona started out as a secondary teacher of Social Subjects and Gaelic and has always been driven to support young people and their futures. Catriona is also a trustee of Urras Brosnachaidh na Gàidhlig and is a board member of Comunn na Gàidhlig.

Euan Scott
Euan Scott works as a project officer for Barra and Vatersay Community Ltd and has a background in ecology. Since moving to Barra over 25 years ago, he has project-managed a range of renewable energy and infrastructure projects for the community company including a 910kW community wind turbine and the Castlebay marina.
He has worked on a range of other projects stemming from local initiatives, including the Carbon Neutral Island project, and other local initiatives including the establishment of a local energy club, among other things.

Erinn Nicolson
Erinn Nicolson is a 29-year-old pharmacist from the Isle of Lewis, now based in Glasgow. She graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2017 and has since completed further postgraduate studies at Robert Gordon University.
She currently works across both GP practices and community pharmacies in Glasgow and the Western Isles, combining her love for both city life and her island roots. She highlights her time in university as being instrumental in shaping her professional path and is eager to see other young islanders benefit from similar experiences and opportunities.

Sally Reynolds
Sally Reynolds was born and brought up in Ness on the Isle of Lewis and studied mathematics and environmental biology at Heriot-Watt and St Andrews before returning to the island following her PhD. Sally has worked as an Agricultural Consultant with SAC Consulting, Development Manager with Urras Oighreachd Chàrlabhaigh (Carloway Estate Trust), and in a business development role with Stornoway Port.
Sally’s interest and passion for Land Reform led her to be one of the first Scottish Land Commissioners and she has recently taken up a new role, with Community Land Scotland, managing the Natural Capital Community Partnerships project.

Seumas Mactaggart
Seumas Mactaggart has lived in Point on the Isle of Lewis for the last 20 years and is originally from Islay. He is currently Head of Development & Co-Productions at MacTV in Stornoway, the largest independent media company in Scotland’s Highlands and Islands. Over a 30 plus year media career – 25 as a TV Producer and as a Senior Executive latterly, at both the BBC and with MacTV – he has worked extensively in Children’s, Youth, Education, Music, Documentary and Drama programming, and has produced many key and landmark Gaelic language projects.
Seumas has also been deeply involved in the community, leading a Gaelic youth choir in Point and coaching athletics extensively over the years.
